What is a Good Skincare Routine for a Busy Mom?
A good Skincare Routine is one you can stick to. No matter how hectic your life is.
It only takes a few minutes a day, but your skin will love you for taking care of yourself.

Then let’s dive right in.
1. Use a Cleanser
After getting up in the morning, always cleanse your face. Doing that, you wash off dust and bacteria.
The Result?
You’ll immediately get rewarded with a rosy glow.
When you tend to dry skin, just use clear water in the morning. That won’t strip too much oil from your face and won’t irritate your skin.
Dry skin or not. You need to use a Cleanser in the evening.
Especially when you’ve put on Makeup during the day.
The Cleanser washes dust, dirt, and Makeup Residue out of your pores. Pure water doesn’t have that much power.

2. Use Moisturizer
During the day your skin loses water and needs to be replenished. Using a Moisturizer will hydrate your face and give it that youthful, supple look.
When you tend to have oily skin, you might think you don’t need to moisturize your face.
But you should.
Dermatologists say, your skin could overproduce oil to compensate for the lack of moisture – that would lead to clogged pores and possible breakouts.
Using Moisturizer only takes a minute and your face looks immediately refreshed.
3. Put on Sunscreen
Sunscreen is the most important step of your Skincare Routine because it can also protect you against Skin cancer. Choose a SPF 30 or higher and apply it – even on cloudy days.
Thank god, that Sunscreen isn’t as thick as it used to be anymore.
So don’t worry about a white cast.
4. Use a Face Mask
At least once a week, you should use a Face mask to nurture your skin.
Applying it is effortless and you can do it to relax in the evening, after putting your kids to sleep or after a long day at work.
Using a Face mask in your basic Skincare Routine has the following benefits:
- You nourish your skin
- You reduce the fine lines on your face
- You look younger and more refreshed in an instant
5. Drink Water
This advice can be easily overlooked. It’s so simple but yet so powerful.
Your skin needs hydration to function at its best and to keep its elasticity.
When you drink around 8 glasses of water, your skin has an easy time flushing out toxins and reducing the signs of aging.
That means less wrinkles and supple, healthy skin.
